The Cedar Park-Leander Statesman is looking for freelancers in the Austin area to help cover the upcoming high school season. Freelancers will be used primarily to cover games on Tuesday and Friday nights, but other writing opportunities may be available.
Interested applicants should send a resume and writing samples to sports editor Sean Shapiro at [email protected]. Prior newspaper experience is not required, but candidates should be able to demonstrate strong writing ability.
