LA News: Ron Fineman terminally ill

Ron came on here and defended himself during, I believe the Carolyn Hughes/Derek Lowe affair. He ran a pay website that critiqued LA TV news and journalism. Seemed like a good guy.

I used to read his site quite a bit before he started charging . . . he is very well informed and uncovered quite a bit of crap that went on in LA's newsrooms. He'll be missed, especially by broadcast folks.

Fineman's a solid journalist and a good guy. This news sucks.
