There's a whole thread here dedicated to talking about it. It was on every ESPN show Monday. It must have been a pretty big deal.

There's a whole thread here dedicated to talking about it. It was on every ESPN show Monday. It must have been a pretty big deal.

No, I'm saying what was the big deal that Bill Self didn't make him available.

I thought that, too. About the only thing I can imagine is Self telling Wright he could talk about at a later time, but not hours after he got benched for the half after that mishap. If anything, you would think he would probably have a good laugh with reporters about it.

That, and he could spew all the usual "I've learned my lesson" quotes.

Exactly. Self made it more of an issue, and gave it longer shelf life, by not allowing Wright to speak to the media.

You'd think a coach who's been in the game that long would have known better. But nothing surprises me with college hoops coaches anymore.
