i just withstood wwiii of weather at the rangers game. torrential rain, 60 mph winds and hail. of course the rangers had no disaster plan so me and 10 thousand fans rode it out in the open with trash cans and chairs flying by. outside there were 10 or so trees snapped in half.

they waited to cancel the game for an hour. of course they kept the concessions open.

Couldn't you have gone to the bathroom or somewhere to get out of the rain?

And yeah, who was winning? :D [/yankeesfan]

dude, there was nowhere to go. there were 10 thousand people under the stands with nowhere to go. workers were running around panicked with no idea where to go. eventually they herded us all under the stadium. too bad that was after a veritable tornado went through the stadium. i really thought i was going to die.

OK. I didn't read your post before I posted.

Glad you're safe, dude.

I'm glad you're OK, Angola. Will you pick me up a Rangers hat while you're down there ... you did say the vendors were still open, didn't you?

Let's hope the weather's not like this for the Dallas outing!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah, it'll just be insufferably humid. ::)

And probably really windy, which is the one thing that surprised me when I went down there.

You're absolutely right. The summer weather in Texas is like standing beneath those hot air dryers in public bathrooms.
