I am so sick of Glenn Beck and his followers

There is no way I can win an argument with his followers.
They have these neat little jiu jitsu moves that allow them to use the same evidence you use to make your point to make theirs. Use an objective, reliable source to point out when Beck is wrong and they question the agenda of the people doing the debunking. Yes folks, anonymous chain e-mails and right wing blogs are reliable sources of information and nonpartisan fact checking sites cannot be trusted.
Why is it whenever somebody finds God they become far right whack jobs like Beck? Why couldn't he have just stayed a drug addict morning zoo host? Think how much better off we'd all be.

It is a neat trick. Conservative elites pretend to be part of a marginalised cultural force while at the same time orchestrating an electoral bloodbath led by America's least marginalised people. The fact that this is working so well tells us a lot about who the elites really are and where the power really lies.

Local Sunday morning talk show host had a good point this morning, with House-probable Steve Chabot in the house.

Host: "You say the first priority will be to repeal the health care reform, but even if the Republicans win all the races they are projected to, you won't have enough to override an Obama veto. So, how do you plan on doing it?"

Chabot went on to say the Republicans have already discussed it. If Obama vetoes, the GOP majority is just going to refuse to fund the reform's functions.

Ugh.

They're very good at this, unfortunately. Either through defunding programs or injecting incompetent people in key government positions, they get the job done. And it's sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Make government bad, complain about bad government. Rinse repeat.
