Musberger went from doing one of the best college football games of the past 3 years, to doing Butler vs. Tennessee in a NIT Semifinal.

Don't see anything wrong with the disparity between the events. He was doing Little League World Series earlier this year.

There was a good piece on "Big Game Brent" in last months GQ. I got the feeling that he just loved announcing games, no matter who was playing.

I like Brent, the man from Montana.

He's especially fun to listen to during ABC college hoops, paired with **** Vitale. He has a way of dissing Vitale throughout the game. Quite humorout at times.

Steven Ash, are you British? You use the singular with a plural: Butler ... are underated.

What's wrong with that? Just a tad elitist there, Chef.

The best college hoops guy is on right now doing the UCLA-Georgia Tech game: Bill Raftery. Onions!

Xan: Maybe it's a British/Canandian trait.....My Queen's still on their money.

Singular Plurality. Always enjoyed listening to Euro soccer games because they'll say something like, "Blackburn are coming in distressed ... "

Oh, Singular Plurality would be a good band name.

YOU ARE LOOKING LIVE.... at Butler-Tennessee from Madison Square Garden.

Brent's fallen a lot further than Michigan-OSU to Butler-Tennessee. He's fallen from the biggest broadcaster in sports to a third-string ABC guy.

Could be Canadian...
Sid Abel, Red Wing HOF and former broadcaster, is forever remembered for making the city plural as in:
"Montreal are skating well tonight..."

The pre-season NIT is one of the two biggest early season college hoops events, and he was at MSG. The teams may have sucked, but the event didn't. And wasn't that followed up by Gonzaga and UNC? He went from covering the game of the year to one of the big NCAA events. He's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine. He wears on me too. But if that's "falling" then ****, I want my ass to fall down hard.
