Sad, fascinating story on CNN.com that caught my eye yesterday if only because of this .

This mugshot is often featured on Smoking Gun and has been used in a few memes.
There's a story behind this mugshot: He's crazy piece of ****.

Long story short: this racist harassed and terrorized a Lebanese family for years. He went so far to run over the mother in his car. She was seriously injured. He tried to kill her.
He was released on bond and murdered one of her sons while he was standing on the porch.

I don't want to turn this into a death penalty debate (this POS is insane, but clearly deserves whatever he gets ).... It was an eye-catching story based on this mugshot, which again, I have see all over the Internet.

I think the eradication of racism is a pipe dream until the population mixes so much that you can't tell people from each other. In short, it won't ever happen bc the easiest excuse for people's failings is that The Other is responsible. Racism is the province of weaklings and the insane.
