How do I improve my writing?

Has some of you may know I'm not the best when it comes to writing and grammar. Since all of you guys do this for a living, I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to improve my writing skills.

Now, to my defense(sort of) my first language is French.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

French. A high school topic that I have never used. Good times.

Anyway, this should be moved to the Journalism board.

Take English classes.
Take writing classes.

Read A LOT with a dictionary handy.
Write a lot using a word processor that corrects grammar.
Post some things on here periodically just for some feedback, but from this thread's initial post you don't seem too bad.
