Why do I feel like I've read this story before? Oh that's right. Because I have. I've read it every month for the last four years.

I'll be reading this story next month, too. And the month after. Maybe six months from now. Maybe a year, but I doubt it.

I thought we already won the war. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Or am I mistaken?

That was a misprint. The Golfweek editor was hung. All is fine now.

Let’s look at the actual story and see if there is any meat to it:
As security conditions improve in Iraq, the U.S. should be able to reduce forces…
Should? It isn’t a definite.
Army Lt. Gen. Ray Odierno, the No. 2 commander in Iraq, also said he believes Iraqi forces will be able to take over security…
Believes? It isn’t a definite.
Odierno also cited Mosul as an example of how the U.S. will gradually take on more of an oversight and support role…
Will? So they aren’t doing it now. I guess that means that in the future they will ease off and then after easing off the troops could be drawn down.

I do so hope that this **** can just end. At some point there needs to be less “will,” “should,” and “believes.” There needs to be more “currently happening,” “we are,” and “good bye.”

I like the news that this guy is positive and that things are going well. I can only hope that his view is correct.

Pastor thinks that if the President of Iraq doesn't believe in evolution, there should be an immediate withdrawal of all troops on the basis of his determination of the man's intelligence.

Another qualitative, unsubstantial post. At some point you might want to contribute something.
