The Northwest Herald sports department is looking for freelance reporters to cover high school sports.
Freelance reporters must be accurate, detail- and deadline-oriented, accurately file box scores and game stories promptly on deadline on teams throughout the Northwest Herald coverage area, which mainly lies within the boundaries of McHenry County.
We're also looking for people who can help us cultivate sources and generate story ideas for the newspaper and our award-winning prep sports Web site, McHenryCountySports.com.
