The wave in the Caribbean is now Tropical Depression Seven, which is soon to be our next named storm. Meanwhile, there is still three feet of water in some homes in Central Florida. We'll be watching this one rather closely. If it comes this way, it could be catastrophic in terms of flooding.

Aug. 25 . . . I guess this is pretty much peak time.

Every year at this time I watch two things: U.S. Open tennis and the NHC's Cone of Death.
