2019 was the kind of year when after you freak out and get past all of the weird and bad stuff, makes you realize you can get through anything.

Happy New Year to all! After I clear the driveway (we had thundersleet last night, love New England winter) I will go purchase the supplies for a quiet Eve and Day at home with Alice. It's not a big holiday for going out around here, unless you're one of the First Night freaks who thinks it's fun to trudge around in the cold going from mime show to folk singer to modern dance troupe performance.

Like last year, going out to a local spot to play games with friends and have a few drinks. Fully expect to be in by 10. Going out late on New Year's Eve is a young man's game. Plus, gotta be ready for the Premier League tomorrow morning.

i got a 12-hour drive waiting for me tomorrow. I’ll welcome the new year at 5 am. It’ll still be around (I hope).

It is officially 2020 here in Singapore. I'd like to report the new year is some sort of marked improvement on 2019, but the fire alarm just went off in our building so the start is inauspicious at best.

Happy New Year to all. We’re staying in, out of the mess of amateur hour. Some drinks, Chinese food, movies. Relaxing.

Cheers to a great 2020 for everyone.

God bless and happy new year to everyone.
Societally, I pray things are much better in the coming decade than the last.
Personally, the past decade has been the most amazing/transformational in my life. I have achieved things I don't deserve and try every day to live up to.
I hope the 2020s bring everyone and our world a similar fate.

Is it wrong to wish death on someone, to their face? Because if it is, I'll take it back next year.
