To those who celebrate, Happy Easter.
Every years, there is a nondenominational service at the spectacular Red Rocks Amphitheater out here (67th this year). I had never been, but the weather was good so I got up early this morning and went with a friend (and about 10,000 others who were there) -- and it was well worth it (and this gives me an excuse to post a couple of photos).
Of course, it's another holiday out here today -- 4/20. Which means there will be a nice thick haze of smoke over the city (more than usual) about a mile from where I live this afternoon. And there's a Snoop Dogg 4/20 event at Red Rocks this afternoon.
As the preacher said this morning. "In about 10 hours, there will be another large group to gather here, praising to another god."
