Thanks to everyone.
Quick funny story about my day so far.
It's Mother's Day, obviously - I was actually born on a Sunday, Mothers Day. And my wife goes to get up with the baby (now one year old) at 6:45 a.m. I tell her to go back to sleep. So I and the wee one start the day: Breakfast, playtime, changing, dressing etc.
At 8 a.m. (because I had to work; I'm there now) I give my girl a Mother's Day card to give to mom. She waddles into the room hands it to her. There's laughing, crying, playing. Fun stuff.
So I'm about to leave and my wife says "Oh, ****! Here!" She hands me two cards. One from my daughter and one from her.
I'm all confused. She says, "It's your birthday."
I respond, "Oh, yeah. I forgot."
Open the cards. Got a subscription to Sports Illustrated from the wife. Nice stuff.
So, I get to work. I call my mom like a good son. We chat. My dad gets on the phone. We chat.
Just as he's about to hang up my mom shouts from the background, "Oh ****! Happy Birthday Pete!"
My dad: "Huh? Oh yeah, happy birthday."
If people - my own parents and myself! - forget my birthday on Mother's Day, I have no idea how people who share Christmas celebrate their birthday!
Anyway, thanks all!
