I read somewhere they had placed Mike V in semi-retirement, and were only going to use him ceremoniously until he passed. I think it also said he'd outlived normal captive tigers, already.

Sort of a big fella ... broad shoulders, trim waist, muscular legs ... very athletic (at least in his younger years) ... nice eyes but his teeth were sort of big ... a bit harrier than most ... could be a little moody at times ... definitely not a vegetarian.
