Not for all of them, mind, but for those who are overweight and have family histories. Ye gods.
 
I know a dozen high school football coaches who probably read this and had a panic attack over seeing their offensive line in the class of 2016 possibly averaging 150 pounds.
 
If a kid is genetically predisposed to heart disease, why not? For kids who are just obese from failure to eat properly and exercise, it may be part of a solution that includes a stronger focus on the other components of the problem. I don't see a problem with trying to attack a major health issue as soon as possible.
