This can't be right!

Police did not release the men's names because both are suffering from a health condition known as scabies and that releasing their names would violate the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

When I was a junior or senior in high school, there was apparently a scabies outbreak at a weekend party. On Monday morning, word began to spread around school. By lunch time, rumors were swirling that the little buggers could jump upwards of 30 to 50 feet from person to person. By fifth period, it was a school-wide panic, with lines at the main office as students demanded to go home to escape the epidemic.

For that week's student newspaper, we worked it up to look like there were giant scabies crawling across the front-page stories. Because we couldn't look them up in those days on the Internet, we just assumed they looked like fleas. Maybe they do.

My roommate hooked up with a high school friend of mine our first year at school. We're pretty sure it was his first time and, sure enough, he got crabs. He made me come with him to the drugstore so he could steal the cream he needed to rub in the right places. We were in a two-room suite and for basically the rest of the year, the guy in the other room would come out of the bathroom and pretend to be slapping bugs all over himself. Now and then, he'd yell from the bathroom GET OFF ME YOU NASTY CRABS. The crab infested roomie did not find any of it funny. He did find it somewhat funny when she did another guy, who suffered the same fate.

Any parents who have had their kids come home from school with the lice note knows it isn't at all funny. My wife used to freak out. Wanted to change all the carpet one time.

Never dealt with scabies

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH. That's the BB&B I use on the rare times I go in one. Well, the one I used to use.

Not sure if I've been to this store. Been a while since I've been to Bed Bath & Beyond. Do remember they would honor expired coupons, not sure if they still do.
Need to text my buddy, his bro-in-law is a Clifton officer.

Rumor is you were engaging in a little bit of man love yourself yesterday.

Well, since somebody has outed me ...

Yes, I told Jones to ignore the people encouraging the pissing match between you two on the politics thread. If that's "man love" in your eyes, then so be it. I guess congratulating you on helping free the wrongfully convicted guys constitutes that too?

Yeah, he used what I presume is your real first name. I still have no clue who you are.

****, what you're doing isn't healthy behavior.

I think what you were part of in helping those wrongly convicted is admirable, great stuff.

I also think you're an asshole based on our interaction.

Let it go.

When my wife was pregnant with our son, there was an outbreak at her architecture/construction firm. She never showed any symptoms, but her OB/GYN suggested it might be a good idea for she, me and our daughter to treat. For me and my daughter, it was easy enough ... you rub this cream (about the consistency of sunscreen) all over you before going to bed, then you shower the next morning. No big deal.

As my wife was pregnant, however, she could not use that treatment (there was some theoretical chance of it entering the baby's bloodstream). So what she had to do was: A) lube up from head to toe with this sulfur-infused vaseline; and B) stay lubed up thusly for two or three days. It was awful.

Doubtful, since he told me I was wrong.

Like I said, if that was "man love" then I guess I really should be embarrassed by this public display of affection.

Maybe that's what I was referencing and you just have a guilty conscience.

You get a lice note? Not at my oldest's school. Teacher told us they can't do that anymore. Wife is panicked about getting it, so my oldest has her hair up every day and we spray her with a preventative spray (which I think is bull****) every morning. Scummy people are the worst.
