The former House Speaker is set to leave office tomorrow. I guess it's just no fun being a GOPer in DC.

What goes up must come down.

That goes for both parties. :)

You don't mean me, do you?

The man was a wrestling coach. I think that's all we need to know.

Then again, it could simply be that with Pelosi running things, the House is an embarrassing thing to be a part of right now.

Yes, because it was run so well before.
Jack Abramoff agrees, anyway.
Seems Denny wants to spend more time with his lawyer...er...family.

Yeah since things were so clean with Hastert running the ship.

Do the names Duke Cunningham and Mark Foley mean anything to you?

Didn't he announce this awhile back?
He did announce he was stepping down awhile back (find Fen's post, where ever it's at), Armchair, but F_H couldn't help himself but to gloat and poke Denny on his way back to Illinois. (Just joshing with you, F_H)

From what I read, he was a pretty good wrestler in school, FWIW.

He just couldn't stand to be in a senate bereft of some of his most corrupt buddies.

Or the House. But then facts kind of evade you I've noticed.
