I have to admit, at first, I figured this was just Drudge focusing attention on what has always been happening.

But, it's becoming clear that this is something different.

Central Americans are rushing here, based on a belief that this is the time to come if you want to be able to stay permanently. And, it's becoming a real humanitarian crisis.

They just want to be able to watch ESPN's unprecedented coverage of The World Cup

or perhaps World Cup referees hoping to escape the wrath of angry Mexican after disallowing two goals which were totally not offside.

Perhaps this is the downside of the proposed immigration reforms. Will it open the floodgates to every Juan and Jose in Latin America?

But the upside it that it could drive down the price to get your lawn cut

I went down to the corner yesterday to get my usual job as a day-laborer and they were already all gone by nine! (Thanks NAFTA!)

Funny part is that right now I can't find anyone to cut my lawn and weed the flower beds.

If they start letting more immigrants in, so much for affordable health care.

Never said that. I have it pretty good. But there are more than enough Latinos (legal and illegal) in the city where I live. Surely don't want to roll out the red carpet for any more.

What the hell is Shirley's problem? La perra no habla espanol?

You can't afford it anyway.

This is clearly crap, as you're not allowed to own property.

How is it becoming a real humanitarian crisis? If people really are rushing here illegally with sketchy prospects, seems there already must be a humanitarian crisis. Just shifting locales.

It's not a humanitarian crisis until Sean Penn and Bono show up.

See, then the advantage of moving the crisis here will at least make it easier on Sean Penn to do crisis commuting. Win-win.

Or Obama needs to deflect attention from his latest criminal activity.

This is a direct result of libtards and their Nazi socialist leader B. Hussein Obama's agenda for letting in all this refuse. No amnesty, let's repair the legal immigration process and prosecute all the illegals here now. But first, get some real security on that border.
