I know this is impetinent and taboo to bring up, but remember the last time his mom was in the news? According to Dez, the Dolphins GM suggested the mom was a prostitute; according to the Dolphins' version, Dez said dad was a pimp and mom worked for dad.

Of course there is no excuse for hitting a woman. But these are exactly the issues that were the sole reason such a talent lasted until the 24th pick.
