I'm sure it's right under my nose and I'll get smacked down for posting a new thread about it, but, DAMN that **** was funny! The only thing funnier than this video is what Jon Stewart will do with it on The Daily Show.

Feel free to lock and delete this thread after linking me to the proper discussion. I swear I did a search and browsed threads looking before I posed this. Cheers!

It was, actually, kind of a nice moment that they both handled well.

Wolf Blitzer being a dumbass is almost a given at this point. As an antidote, I give you Fred Rogers:
http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2013/04/16/look_for_the_helpers_mister_rogers_quote_a_brief_history.html
http://skepchick.org/2013/05/dealing-with-tragedy-as-an-atheist/

When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.

The greater question is: Why did it take so long to start this thread?

I agree.

Only thing I would say is why ask a leading question designed to get a cliche response.

It would be like a sports writer asking a player if he plans to take the season one game at a time.

Maybe it would have been better if he'd asked her snidely where her "God" was when all those people were slaughtered and then laughed cruelly as she tried to stammer out a response.
