She's not under criminal investigation for the email thing. What she did was legal when she was in office. The FBI is looking at email going back to her predecessors for security reasons, not criminal reasons.

I'd likely vote for HRC, because she'd remain the most knowledgeable and competent candidate whose policy goals most closely resemble mine, but that depends on what you mean by "some sort of trouble." In n a genuinely dire circumstance (which is to say not e-mail, Benghazi! or Lena Dunham), I'd hope Biden would come to the rescue.

Technically, then, only two former mayors have been elected President. Johnson was only elected Vice-President; he couldn't even get his party's nomination for a complete term.

Bloomberg is only a game-changer in that he could cause a state with a razor-thin margin to flip red, like Nader did in Florida in 2000. (What's thinner than razor-thin?)

Otherwise, not even close. The parties have rigged the system to make it impossible for independents to get traction like Perot did.

If Bloomberg gets in, he really should try the Perot route of buying a half hour of TV time and telling the country who he is. Otherwise, has any average voter (not media members) outside the northeast ever heard of him?

Say what we will about these races, but people certainly aren't basing their votes on how photogenic the candidates are. If they were, Rubio would be winning in a landslide.
