Arlen Specter: Pats have been spying on opponents since 2000.

The destruction of the tapes was a joke and I don't buy the explanation for a second.

But the use of the two games in '04-'05 against the Steelers is a bit disingenuous. Deion Branch missed that first game and then torched the Steelers in the AFC championship. Corey Dillon missed that game, as did one of the Patriots' starting linemen. Much as I'd love to believe they were ripped off, I came away from that AFC Championship convinced that the better team just kicked the Steelers' asses.

Arlen Specter is a *****. Comcast is a major contributor to his campaigns, and they're having a pissfight over NFL Network.
And he's still sore about Super Bowl 39.
Hey Arlen: May the next girl your son brings home for the holidays be Anita Hill.

Agree on Spector.
However, Goodell looks like even more of a jackass.
Where are the Krafts in all of this?

And what was the great Tagliabue doing all those years?
Oh, yeah, nothing.

To be fair, the league was in cruise control so Tags could work on his HOF speech.

I'm sorry but who the **** is Arlen Specter? Seriously.

And how many teams haven't been spying on other teams?

Jesus, don't these people have a country to run?

I used to think so. Apparently now we're all about cleaning up U.S. sports. I hear they'll be looking into Snoop Dogg's football league next.

Wait till Congress hears about the BCS. How long until we can just merge C-Span & ESPN-News?

He's probably going to try and place Belichick in Dallas on 11/22/63.

I'm going to review the Altgens and Moorman photographs to see if there's a man on the knoll in a hoodie.

I'm so sick of the "everybody does it" defense. We hear it about steroids, we hear it about spying, etc.
Can't we all just agree that cheating is cheating, no matter how common it is?

Specter's motives are anything but pure, but I really want to know what this Walsh guy knows...

I'll bet when all is said and done, Belichick retires rather than deal with any of this...

Goodell has moments of brilliance as commissioner, but then he looks completely lost when things like this happen and he failed to take proper action on the Patriots. Tags didn't do too well either, but still, it's time for Goodell to take some kind of action.

Rosie O'Donnell's theory about 9/11 doesn't sound so ridiculous now. Tomorrow, Sen. Specter tells us Belichick planted the explosives.

I, too, want to know what Walsh knows. Mangini, Weis and Crennel, too.

Too bad the Evil Hoodie brainwashed them enough to not talk openly with the media.

If Specter calls them before Congress, they may have to talk.
