I\\\'m sure this was mentioned on the NBA thread, but Larry Krystkowiak being named the new Bucks coach deserves its own thread, dammit!

The below pic is just for sc ...

Before we dub him the new Coach K, I would like to hear if his cursing is creative enough to earn that f-ing title.

It is.

And thanks Ellis . . .

I shall now become a Bucks fan, since the Pacers are a buncha thugs.

Let's see, the Bucks fire Terry Porter, a coach with no previous NBA head-coaching experience, after two seasons. Then they hire and fire Terry Stotts, a coach with one season of previous NBA head-coaching experience prior to coming to Milwaukee. Now they hire Krysko, a coach with ONE-HALF season of NBA ASSISTANT coaching experience to be head coach?

Geezus, they wonder why that organization is a joke.

It's Krystko, dammit!

And when he went there as an assistant, it was with the understanding that he'd be coach in a year or two.

And anybody who can win with that group of **** that Montana had is a hella great coach.

I thought this thread was about this.

I saw that a couple days ago and I thought it deserved its own thread. Stupid in the beginning, ****ing hilarious by the time it's over. The line about Duke girls looking like soccer moms at 19 was awesome.

No offense, SC.

But a year or two certainly isn't 2/3rds of a season. And when you've got zilch head-coaching experience in the NBA, it's gonna make a difference. Especially with those no-D-playing chumps he's got on that roster now.

I hope he succeeds there; he seems like a pretty cool guy and like you said, he coached Montana into the tourney twice. But the odds are definitely stacked against him.

A cool side note about him...when I was a kid and he played for the Bucks he'd do the damndest thing during early warmups. He'd stand at mid-court with his back facing one basket, chuck the ball high up in the air behind him, bounce it at the free-throw line and then into the basket.

Thrilling, I know. But I was easily amused back then.

You're being very charitable if you're counting Stotts time coaching the Hawks as NBA experience...

Oh, I'm very aware of that. But it's still more than Krystko can say he's done.
