Glazer just sent out a tweet saying Peterson has been indicted on charges of "injury to a child".

Yep. Crazy.

Minnesota Vikings superstar Adrian Peterson has reportedly been indicted for child abuse in North Montgomery County, TX.

Peterson missed Vikings team practice yesterday -- though the team explained it as a "veteran's day."

Child Protective Services confirms they are working on a case involving Peterson and an 11-year-old boy.

We must ask ourselves what the elements of provocation were. Maybe they have an inordinately tempestuous relationship and he was kicking Peterson in the ankles.

According to Fox Houston's Isiah Carey, the charges stem from allegations that Peterson "beat his young son." Child Protective Services confirmed to TMZ that it has a case involving Peterson and an 11-year-old boy.

I am sure some dip**** sports talker will try to talk about corporal punishment and how if more daddies spanked their children there would be less crime. But they'd be as ignorant as Stephen A Smith

Causing injury to a child is pathetic, AP should be indefinitely suspended. You would, who is he to skate

Allegedly disciplined his son with a switch. Old-school southern-style beating.

Get ready for another national debate... one that won't have anything to do with the NFL or Roger Goodell.

How many games should he be suspended?
All of them until acquitted

So punish the guy until he is proven innocent? That is a new level of stupid even for this place.

Yeah, tough call. It's a fine line between discipline and abuse. I have no tolerance for child abuse, but I was hit with a belt in my younger days. And I would bet AP's grandmother took a switch to his ass too. Not sure how to feel about this one. I know times change, but at the same time, kids need to be disciplined, to a point.

Why is it automatically the default that the kid must have done something horribly wrong?

Maybe Adrian Peterson is a textbook case of someone who grew up in a horrible home, has no discipline in his own life, has barely any relationship with his many children, and is a classic abuser.

If the discipline sends the kid to the doctor, I have no problem saying that is too far. I do have a problem with punishment coming before proof.

Why is it automatically the default that Peterson is guilty?
