Charge with resisting arrest.

Hard to tell what will come of this, as details are pretty vague at this point.

I wondered the same thing at first.

This brief says that he was released this morning:

People at the club have said Peterson got up to get some water, an officer told him he had to leave and they got into an argument because Peterson and his family had apparently done nothing wrong up to this point. Once Peterson calmed down, he started to leave and the cop ran and jumped on his back. A source, who seems to be an employee, has said they have multiple security cameras that caught the incident.

He should not have resisted.

I, for one, find Captain Hindsight's wisdom to be a welcome addition to the board.

To all pro athletes:

Stay away from Houston. Especially the bars. Nothing good happens there.

Yes, it's silly, but the cops have it in for you. We read about this stuff over and over and over there. Just play it safe and stay away.

If you´re ever in Houston, well, you better do right
You better not gamble, there, and you better not fight
Or the sheriff will grab you and the boys will bring you down
The next thing you know, boy, oh, you´re prison bound.
