Hey, dumb, dumb, it has nothing to do with being "good." It has to do with the fact that it takes chutzpah to claim that you have suffered "monetary damages" in what is essentially impact litigation trying to get a practice ended. It's probably just an attempt to assert standing, but it's still funny.

Yeah there's not a lot of lawsuits where people claim monetary damages that are insanely inflated or made up.

Going to DaughterQuant's school "Holiday" concert tonight. She'll play in one of the freshman orchestras first, then later she'll be singing in one of the choirs. Because the older kids were also involved in music there, I've been going to these for years, and I remain amazed that they escape protest given the musical choices that are made. The selections aren't exclusively Chistmas-y, but they come pretty damn close. I guess they've been vetted legally -- this is a pretty big and diverse school district -- but still ... seeing the Muslim girls (with their hair covered) singing Christmas carols is weird.
