Harper hitting .400 in the 13 games since coming back from the neck injury. It's....something at least.

He's been playing a lot better since his little break, will probably end up with 30 HR and 90 or so RBI. Decent for a down year.

Of course, he's still a hot-headed dumbass sometimes. Like today. Inexcusable getting yourself tossed in a tie game when there's one bench player left. Particularly over a pitch that looks very much like a strike.

Just for further context:

Since July 8, so almost a month, Harper has had ZERO multi-hit games, hit ONE home run and driven in FOUR runs. I'll admit, I was surprised how bad he has been when I looked past a falling batting average.

After reading this I checked, and on exactly July 8, I traded Harper, Napoli and smadarjzia for trout, mauer and archer. As bad as the other two have been, trout has been just fine despite the power shortage.
