Heck of an opener today between Canada and the United States. The Americans won 5-4 in a shootout. Canada dominated the first period but Keith Kinkaid was outstanding in goal. Don't know the final shots-on-goal numbers but my guess is they were about 2-to-1 Canadians. Good to see Michigan D-man Quinn Hughes get some ice time for the U.S. Probable top-ten pick.
