    Little League World Series insights

Poor ESPN. Spend all that money and effort to cover something that is beneath them.

    Pam Ward: She gone

If she or anyone else makes a legitimate mistake, bash away. But fair and accurate.

    Pam Ward: She gone

She did the exact same thing that all the other pxp announcers do in big moments in terms of words, voice inflection and level of excitement. Not every person uses Gus Johnson levels to show excitement. So what you really mean is that her voice/style wasn't able to make YOU feel the big moments...

Absolutely outstanding reporting by Harrisburg Patriot News in PSU case

Actually, it's a silly argument anyway. nielsen.com now shows that 33.6% of the football audience is female. And not every man is some sort of Neanderthal who is watching the game just to get a glimpse of Erin Andrews. What makes a "good" announcer is completely subjective. Some folks like the...

Don't you dare step into this booth woman!!!

I hope you at least watch the games instead of rely on the "impartial reporting" of Awful Announcing. I tend to DVR and watch most games and a lot of what they claim is said is immediately corrected, or taken out of context, or just plain not said at all. And even if an announcer says one or two...
