I got VT over Furman!

And to those who will say Beamer panicked, save it. The best players should play. Bottom line. And he will be now. It just took Frank a little while to come to his senses.

Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Ass. Beamer.

No doubt in my mind you are correct.

And BG over Sota at BG? all day.

As Rece Davis said last week, "It's going to be tough for Pitt to win the Big East if they start out 0-2 in the MAC."

Buffalo over Pitt.

The poll-shaking games of the week: S. Carolina-Vandy, Oklahoma-Cincy, Wake-Old Miss, Central Fla-South Florida, W. Virginia-E. Carolina, Miami (Fl.)-Florida.

No shortage of movement again this week.

Big in-state games in Florida this week: But I get the feeling both the Gators and Bulls win handily.

Dumb for playing your best QB? Not in my book. But we've been down this road before.

SC is gonna wax Vandy
Ole Miss beats Wake

Other than that, no interesting games.

You know, I almost hope it happens just to see how Western Pa will react.

Four years of Bozik might be like eight years of Hoover, so four years of Wannstedt is like eight years of W? [/BeanoCook]

Maybe they have just suffered enough.

Golly.
East this. West that.
Does this movement come with GPS?

Was Mars Hill already booked?

How does Tech book this week's team and expect a decent ranking?

Greenville, S.C. is a pretty fun town, though. :)

My God, what an awful week of college football. Is everyone playing Homecoming this week?

If this is what an extra game gives these guys, it should be taken back.

Has there ever been a week this bad?

WVU/East Carolina is the best game?

You know, I take back what I typed about Tech this week.

Everyone is playing bums except for most of the Pac 10 schools.

Sonner ... dumb for not looking at the big picture. Beamer has precious few chances left to win a national championship, and the window from 2009-11 looks a lot better than this season, when AT BEST, Tech goes 8-4 and slips into the ACC title game, with or without Tyrod. And let's be honest, Tech fans aren't real satisfied with ACC titles any more. Been there. Done that. A lot. People want 1999 redux, and Tyrod can't make that happen this year any more than Glennon can.

Tyrod isn't the sort of player who can lift a team to 11 straight wins on his own. He's very talented, yes, but he's not Michael Vick. No one will be Michael Vick (save the dog jokes, all, you know what I'm talking about). Plus Michael Vick had NFL tailbacks and receivers at his disposal.

Playing Taylor this year is a waste. Tech is barren at WR and TB in terms of guys who can help RIGHT NOW. Those players will be better next year. Throwing Tyrod in there with no help just makes so sense to me at all. At most, a net gain of one win this year.
