The rest of the time, that's just a sleepy little town in the hills. The residents GTFO for the rally.

 

The thought of so many cretins in one place, combined with alcohol, is disturbing.

Hopefully the real-deal, meth-head, biker-trash guys beat the shit out of the lawyers and bankers who trailer their Harleys to the festival. Suit-and-tie guys who would have you think they magically transform into badass bikers on the weekend are just asking for it.

 

If you cruise any stretch of I-90 during the week leading up to Sturgis, you'll see no shortage of BMW's towing bike trailers. Kind of pathetic. If you're headed to the rally, ride your bike.

That said, God help any of those weekend warriors that shows up at the wrong hoe-down on anything but a Harley.

 

I should have told her Calgary was hosting an Angels reunion this past weekend.

 

I've got a friend who has a tat shop there for the Harley thing. Believe me I've thought about it.
