OK, I stole this from my sworn enemy. And I know it's usually top 10, but I can't think of 10 shows where I loved the last couple nearly as much as I loved the first few.

But I'm bored on New Year's Eve. getting old, and taking an ill-advised break from working on a massive project . . .

    Lost
    Twin Peaks
    Cheers
    Star Trek (the original)
    Gilmore Girls

    Hill Street Blues
    West Wing
    Seinfeld
    Cheers
    Taxi

That is right off the top of my head, I'm sure I'm leaving something out.

I'll split the difference as these were the first 7 to come to mind:

    Doctor Who
    The Wire
    Arrested Development
    Breaking Bad
    Party Down
    Friday Night Lights
    Sherlock

There are individual seasons that I love a lot in other shows, but these are the ones where I love them (mostly) from start to finish.

Nice to see Everybody Loves Raymond listed... I started watching it in syndication a couple months ago and it's amazing how good it still is. I don't know that I would call it underrated, because it had a really nice run, but I don't think it ever got the love it deserved.
