One movie I haven't seen mentioned that deserves at least a little bit of love is "The Outlaw Josey Wales."

    MASH
    Platoon
    Young Guns
    Jacob's Ladder
    12 Monkeys
    And Justice for All

Would that be the one where the rampaging alien from the moon is a guy in a gorilla suit with a deep sea diving helmet?

    God, I love '50s and '60s low-budget sci-fi.

Ever see it? Denzel does a great job, it's set in Philadelphia and it got me into the Stones.

    Trading Places
    Scarface

Josey Wales was in the running. Makes Unforgiven look like Young Guns in comparison. Major League and Pulp Fiction also barely missed the cut.

I'll give it it's due, but after "High Plains Drifter," the only Eastwood western that comes close, IMHO, is "Pale Rider".

Sydney Penny was beautiful in that one. :-*

  12. No order:

    Casablanca.
    The Wizard of Oz.
    Duck Soup.
    Yankee Doodle Dandy.
    Tootsie.
    Local Hero.
    Letters from Iwo Jima.
    Godfather II.
    Alexander Nevsky.
    McCabe and Mrs. Miller.
