It may be possible for Clowney — South Carolina misses Alabama, LSU and A&M next year. The top three toughest opponents are Georgia, Florida and Clemson.

Are you guys forgetting that the reigning Heisman winner will be back next year as a sophomore?

Reigning Heisman winners have a recent history of declining statistics and unrealistic expectations.

Yeah. Can't see it in this case though. If he makes it through the off-season without getting arrested and/or suspended, he's going to be off the charts*.

    *In my opinion.

I think you borrowed someone else's opinion and are drafting off his heat.

Heisman favorites have a recent history of disappointment, too.

Is Marques Tuiasosopo still the only player to go 300/200 in a game?

I see Manziel threatening that on a regular basis.

Didn't we say the same things about Tim Tebow?

Not really. He never hit those kinds of statistical highs. It was all touchdowns in his Heisman season.

Thayer Evans was all LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME, which is one of the big problems with the Heisman voting. Way too many people have a vote. Way too many LOOK AT ME votes.

Klein beat No. 6 Oklahoma, No. 13 West Virginia, No. 14 Texas Tech, No. 24 Oklahoma State and No. 18 Texas. He also got STOMPED by Baylor.

Manziel beat No. 23 Louisiana Tech, No. 15 Mississippi State and No. 1 Alabama. He lost to No. 24 Florida (in his first start) and No. 6 LSU.

Remember, those are all at the time.

Let's see who is still ranked.

Klein: beat Oklahoma (No. 11), Bueller? Bueller?

Manziel: beat Alabama (No. 2), lost to Florida (No. 3), lost to LSU (No. 9).

I'd argue Manziel had a tougher schedule.

    Can we look at stats?

Klein: 3,380 total yards, 37 TDs, 7 INTs

Manziel: 3,419 passing yards (should I stop there? Had more passing yards than Klein had total yards) and 1,181 rushing yards (4,600 total yards), 43 TDs, 8 INTs.

I'd hear an argument for T'eo, but get out of here with Klein.

Did he say he meant Collin Klein? I think there are pretty solid arguments for Jarvis Jones, Chance Warmack or Marqise Lee as better players than Johnny Manziel.
