If it was about the console, I stand corrected. I do apologize.

And if I'm wrong, I apologize. As your significant other will tell you, my being wrong happens all the time. :)

M Network Football. You could position the blockers to set up running plays. Can't remember if you could throw.

ColecoVision Ladybug. PacMan, but with vegetables.

Atari Decathlon. I had the controller rigged with electrical tape to help me get the best score.

Honorable Mention: Intellivision Hangman. Best video word game ever.

Exactly. I don't play games as much anymore, but I know JDV plays games as much as he ever has, as do many pro athletes.

Here's on of my favorites from computers:

    - Redneck Rampage (with the 'cuss pack')

Aliens come to Earth, and they land in rural
America. You, a hick, have to take them out.
If you play this game with the cuss pack, it is
unbelievably funny, with things like an old man
chasing you saying things like "I'm gonna fuck
ya" (clean version: "I'm gonna git' ya")

Not a brilliant game, but comedy and surreal
scores are off the charts. It's a 'shooter' game
(first person perspective, blowing things up)

BYH - That baseball game (RBI?) was one of my favorites, too. I used to play that on the Commodore 64 constantly. Great game.

    Wasn't it "Hardball"?

As for the great "cutting-edge" voicework on the Commodore 64 games, check out http://www.the-commodore-zone.com/articlelive/articles/1/2/Speech-Box/Page2.html
