49ers against the Broncos on Oct. 31. 49ers lose the home game.

I'm thinking that after watching about a half of Kyle Orton versus Alex Smith the Brits will send this product back and ask for a refund.......

Do the 49ers get compensated for that lost home game?

The idea is that every team is going to lose a home game over a 20-30-year period

Is there a rotating schedule in place? You'd think teams like Dallas and Washington would be the least likely to lose a home game and teams like Jax with small gates more likely.

Nope. I think they're looking strictly at matchups. And it's interconference matchups.

2007: Giants-Dolphins (Dolphins lose the home game)
2008: Chargers-Saints (Saints lose the game)
2009: Patriots-Buccaneers (Buccaneers lose the game)
    2010: Broncos-49ers (49ers lose the game)

Only real surprise for this upcoming season is that it wasn't an AFC team that lost the home game.

I wonder who McDaniels will bench for that game? Maybe the whole team? Let those lucky Londeners watch the practice squad?

/still angry about that whole goddamn thing
