For what? It's a right-to-firework state. They can fire him because they don't like the color tie that he wore. If he's fired without cause, as he was, then he gets severance. If he'd been fired for cause, he wouldn't have. They don't even have to have a reason to fire him.

Short of actually violating employment law (firing him because of his race or a disability, for example), there's no grounds for a suit.

 

He's getting something like $50,000 in severance. Enough to make more than a dozen films.

 

Depends on what judge he gets.

 

Or 500 really low-quality ones.

 

Yeah, I know. I still hope he at least ties them up in court for a little while.

 

I notice in the article that he has three teen-aged children. If one or more is a boy, can you picture the day Dad brought that home as a future Step-Mom.
