You cannot make this up

American Idol rules among younger women, Dancing among older women. Unlike men, women actually watch TV programs right through rather than clicking the remote frenetically to catch six programs and three ball games at once, so they rule the ratings, too. I am a prime offender in the clicking category, which is why dual HD TV sets were a necessity for the survival of our marriage.

 

Yeah, it's pretty obvious why this show is big among women from say, 40-upward. How many of them are married to lunks who can't/won't take them out dancing?

 

Absolutely. My mother-daughter dream to end all of them.

 

Because Americans, for the most part, are slobbish idiots who would watch this while eating cheese puffs rather than seeing a performance of Chicago in person.

 

Um, one's free. You kind of neglected that in trashing all of us.

 

And it's refreshing to know that everyone who watches TV, apparently, does so while eating cheese puffs.

Sports are the only reality TV that I watch.

 

DWTS isn't reality TV. It's more game show than anything else.
