    Hell, we haven't even gotten outta Round 1 yet. And we've got a tough power conference club in Cincy tonight at home, where we'll play in a half-filled gym because no one gives a shit about this thing and the students are on break.

    Stanford-Cornell is like a win-win if you are into red uniforms... Leland Stanford modeled Stanford after Cornell, after visiting it. Seven of Stanford's first 15 faculty members came west from Cornell to get Stanford off the ground and Stanford's first president was a Cornell grad.

    And since I am doing arcane Cliff Clavin trivia... the Campbell's soup can was modeled after Cornell's uniforms. One of the company's exec's was at a Penn-Cornell football game in the late 1800s (company is located outside Philly) and decided to change the can to match Cornell's uniform.

    Little-known fact: Andy Warhol painted Cornell uniforms before he got famous with soup cans.
