I know Okie State's defense was shoddy against Oklahoma, but it only allowed 28 points to Texas and 23 to Missouri. Both good offenses.

To say the Cowboys defense is terrible is a stretch.

Beyond USC, the Pac-10 is pretty darn weak. Not as weak as the Big Least --- which has NO business with an automatic BCs bid --- but weak enough.
