Yeah I Bought Thriller Today

I already own the record, but it's at my parents. They actually bought, but I suppose I could take it whenever.

But I bought the 25th Anniversary CD today. Awesome. Just awesome.

There's a reason this is the greatest selling album of all time.

Every song is good. There. I said it.

 

Frightening.

I was six.

A few weeks ago I and two buddies took over a juke box at our old college watering hole. We were drunk as skunks. Anyway, we plopped in about $10 in quarters and chose every Michael Jackson song we could find. Then we sat back and watched every single person in the joint bob their head, dance, groove or whatever to every song. I don't care what anyone says, nearly everyone loves MJ.

The same thing happened 10 years ago when I was in college. I and one of the same buddies were cruising around the strip at the beach we were vacationing at and it was standstill traffic. We put on MJ and people actually gathered at our car and danced in the street. It was a cool scene.

I've never heard the entire album. I think the title cut is one of the most overrated songs in music history.
