The 50 Writing Tools will be disappearing from the Poynter site on July 1 (Saturday). That's because they're coming out with a book about them and unlinking them from the site at the request of the publisher.

It's worth taking a look if you haven't. And there's information on how to buy the book here as well.

Where does Mariotti rank on the list of Fifty Writing Tools?

Not true. Mariotti is actually a really good writer. I guess that makes it even sadder that he simply pontificates.

I say this with no annoyance, merely amusement, but boy, are we in a strange place when we can turn a thread on RPC's 50 Writing Tools into yet another Mariotti thread.  ::)

Too easy, I know. Good Poynter site, though ... and I have already pre-ordered the book.

I didn't see a button on that link to order the book. Anyone know how to order it?
