Writing ruts

The last few stories I've written (3 or 4) have all contained minor errors of some kind...nothing factual, purely grammatical. They're all frustrating, since I know better, and they're all baseball gamers that have come at deadline.

It's been a consistent rut to where it's wearing on me and I feel I may be thinking too much or overanalyzing now. The gamers are generally 18-20 inches and also include a small notebook at the end. But it's like an annoying mosquito that keeps sucking away, and I'm not sure how to deal with it completely and smartly. I've been in the biz for almost 3 years now, and it's the first time I've been through this. Not the first time I've made errors, of course, but the first time it's been in a consecutive string of stories that have made me both anxious and stressing over the next one.

Any suggestions on what might help to at least aid the concern?

    Thanks!

Keep going at it. You'll hop out of the slump.

I think that's what spnited meant.

I think what will help you is transcribing these two interviews for me, total of 45 minutes, one with a guy from England and one with a guy from New Zealand.

    You're welcome.

It's a good show. The struggle with their accents makes me laugh.

As for the topic on hand, like I said... Just keep chugging along.

Gee, my Aussie brother-in-law just headed home Monday after attending my brother's wedding. He probably could have helped (a little) with the Kiwi.

Yeah, dude, it happens. Not a big deal. The errors will be caught, and like anyone else out there on the field, you'll break out of the slump.

    Don't worry about it.
