Hi everyone. ProBasketballNews.com is looking for writers to cover the NBA and minor league basketball for the 2006-07 season. We need 300-500 word notebooks for each of the 30 NBA teams once a week (or once every two weeks at a minimum). Right now, most spots are open -- but please don't apply unless you're sure you have the time and that your newspaper approves.

You don't have to be an NBA beat writer, but we do prefer that you live in the general vicinity of the team you are covering. At least one to two years of daily newspaper reporting is preferred.

We also need four to five writers to assist us in our minor league coverage. Again, you'll have a better chance if you live in an area that has minor league basketball.

E-mail cover letters and resumes to PBN.com editor Sam Amico at amico@probasketballnews.com. The shorter the cover letter the better, as we expect to have plenty to sort through.

Is this paid or should we want to do this for free.
