Wrigley Field game officially a farce

    Fans at Wrigley should be used to the refs throwing flags. After all, the Cubs have been throwing in the towel for over 100 years.

    Since the AFL is the best these guys will do, you'd think they'd welcome the chance to get smacked into a wall.

    I want to see Northwestern intercept a pass in the end zone, return it 99 yards back the other way only to get pushed out at the 1-yard line, then see both trudge back upfield 99 yards to do 1st and goal from the 1-yard line.

    The 1932 NFL Championship was played indoors at Chicago Stadium, so it would be retro.

    That's only slightly true. They've had football games in non-traditional sites before the hockey outdoor games.

    Before the last renovations, the head of Bristol Motor Speedway lobbied like mad to get a Tennessee-Va Tech matchup.
