Wrigley Field game officially a farce

Earlier this week, I looked in disbelief at the back of an end zone that was about six inches away from the outfield wall at Wrigley Field.

Today, the Big Ten agreed with my initial reaction. Illinois and Northwestern will only use one end zone on Saturday.

Looks perfectly reasonable to me.

 

If ESPN had any nuts at all, it would dump this game now.

 

Why does Illinois even need an end zone?

 

So if a team intercepts the ball, when they get to the 50-yard line, do they have to turn around and run back to the end zone they were defending?

Well, since the baseball games played there are a farce, might as well have the football game be one, too.

I heard the game will have a special halftime show by.....Too Short.
The Big 10 was worried that Bartman would show up and actually catch a ball from the stands.
This will be the first "second half" that has mattered at Wrigley Field in years.
