ATLANTA, ATLANTA, ATLANTA.
It doesn't matter how well their teams do, they aren't supportive. Many people attending Falcons games aren't from the greater Atlanta area.

 

I'm going to strongly disagree with you here.

I remember Atlantans toting this bumper sticker:

And take the Braves with you!

 

Atlanta can't even front-run properly (witness the lack of playoff sellouts for the Braves). They got my vote.

 

Philly gets a bad rap. Great sports town.

 

that's because they're all over in Athens for college football.

I was looking Boston them, too. Not sure why Boston got a free pass on this one.

 

Atlanta has to get at least one of my nods, but my top vote goes to Tampa.

Philly's rap is because many of those making comments have never been to a game there. They are only going by what they've heard some jackass commentator said. When it comes to knowledge of sports and team support, Philly is excellent.
The fans boo when they feel someone isn't giving it their best effort. And they have that right. They paid good money and expect a good performance.
Didn't mean to go on a pro-Philly rant but it definitely shouldn't be on this list.
