    Don't know what sport you cover, but in major-league baseball, there are no free meals in the press dining room. Seven to 10 bucks. Still a bargain, but not gratis.

    Then I'm glad I went into the stands, where KFC and Pizza Hut were available, along with a wide assortment of rum drinks.

    South Carolina serves up various poultry products pretty regularly - chicken fingers, fried, broiled, you name it.
