He hasn't done the TV broadcast call of the race since the Derby switched over to NBC, but I believe he still does the call on ESPN Radio.

Chic Anderson? He's famous for the legendary Secretariat Belmont call.

It didn't even mention the murders . . . what the hell was Gelston thinking? What the hell was his editor thinking when he/she put this on the wire?

Does he really think they're going to let a murderer anywhere near the Queen?

If AP thinks it's important to have O.J.'s prediction, why not every other alleged "famous" person who will be at the Downs. Ridiculous.

Um, I believe the "not guilty" post this was a reply to could have used the sarcasm font.

  6. It is at least somewhat ironic that Nordberg will be there when the Queen comes to visit.

As long as Reggie Jackson isn't there, she'll be OK.

  8. And if Reggie does show, we know who'll be on the job.

Quick clarification, and I see it in Sports copy quite a bit.
It bugs and it's a just an FYI:

***The Juice was found NOT GUILTY in the CRIMINAL CASE in The State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson.
***The Juice was found civilly LIABLE FOR THE WRONGFUL DEATH of the Ronald Goldman, battery against Goldman, and battery against Nicole Brown.

Unlike the "real killer," who is yet to be found.
